FMP- CHROMATIC CONSTRUCTS
“Chromatic Constructs” is a project based on modern design values and how the combination of colour and geometry can have beneficial impacts on those viewing it. The juxtaposition between clean, structural repeats and a rich colour palette guide explorations into screen printing, ceramics and jacquard development and prompt ideas into how my designs can be visualised within an interior setting.
BEYOND THE SURFACE- YEAR 2
This project looked closely into the way in which nature can influence the way we design- and can to do so in a more sustainable and practical way moving into the future. Influenced by architecture and the structural qualities around us, in comparison with the microscopic textures of natural forms, I used a combination of hand processes as well as digital prints to explore the difference between levels of structure in our world as a way of creating a gender-neutral fashion collection suitable for the minimalist consumer.
